The King's Online Academy is committed to ensuring students receive an education that is vibrant, academically rich, and relevant through a variety of interesting and engaging courses.  Planning your academic schedule is an exciting process; it is about exploring your interests, pursuing your passions, and working toward your academic goals.

The Kings Online Academy offers over 70 high school courses for all levels of learners including traditional, honors and Dual Enrollment (DE).  Honors courses offer a more demanding and accelerated pace to challenge academically motivated students. Students who take honors courses will earn an additional .5 quality point which is averaged into their Grade Point Average (GPA).   Advanced Placement (AP) courses are considered college level, characterized by challenging material and advanced writing expectations.  The objective of these courses is to prepare students for the AP examination given by Collegeboard at the end of the academic year.  Colleges and universities will often award credit for students who obtain a high passing score on the exam.  Students who take AP courses will earn an additional 1.0 quality point which is averaged into their Grade Point Average (GPA)

Dual Enrollment (DE) courses provide willing and academically prepared students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rigor of college coursework.  All DE courses are offered through a partnership with Palm Beach Atlantic University.  To qualify for enrollment in a DE course, a student must be in 11th or 12th grade and have a minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0.  DE classes will remain on a student’s permanent college transcript. Students who take DE courses will earn a 1.0 quality point which is averaged into their Grade Point Average (GPA).
